Nach den Entwicklungen in Bezug auf die Position Uruguays in Bezug auf die EUDR möchten wir darüber informieren, dass das INAC (Uruguays Nationales Fleischinstitut) anlässlich der SIAL-Paris eine Präsentation an Importeure und andere Akteure der Europäischen Union über die von Uruguay gefundene Lösung für die in der oben genannten Verordnung auferlegten Zertifizierungsanforderungen gehalten hat.

Uruguay's response to the EUDR requirements, which is attached, is based on the registration and information systems that Uruguay has designed, made possible by its long-standing legislation on the registration of rural property and the protection of natural resources. This solution implemented by Uruguay to help equip EU operators with the necessary information to comply with this Regulation.

Schließlich steht Ihnen diese Botschaft zusammen mit den Experten des Ministeriums für Viehzucht, Landwirtschaft und Fischerei von Uruguay für eine Online-Veranstaltung (in englischer Sprache) zur Verfügung, mit dem Ziel, die Funktionsweise der Nationalen Plattform für entwaldungsfreie Wertschöpfungsketten im Detail zu erläutern.

The Embassy of Uruguay in Berlin is pleased to inform that the ‘V European Investment Forum in Uruguay’, entitled ‘Renewables on the move’, will take place in Montevideo on 30 September and 1 October 2024, with the special participation of the European Commissioner for Energy, Kadri Simson, together with the Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining of Uruguay, Elisa Facio, and the presence of the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nicolás Albertoni. The event is organised by the Delegation of the European Union in Uruguay, the Eurochamber Uruguay and the Chamber of Commerce and Services of Uruguay. On 30 September there will be a Conference with a keynote speech by Commissioner Kadri Simson and Minister Elisa Facio, among other speakers. For more information and registration:
